Random Things That Made My Day Better This Week

Life isn’t always smooth sailing, but sometimes, little things can brighten our days in unexpected ways. This week, I found happiness in simple moments that made me smile and lifted my spirits. Here are a few random things that made my days better:


1. Discovering a New Favorite Song 🎶

Music has always been a big part of my life, and this week, I kept replaying “Elastic Heart” by Sia. The melody was powerful, and the lyrics really spoke to me. Whether I was cooking, cleaning, or just relaxing, this song was always playing in the background. Music truly has a way of lifting my mood and making everything feel a little better.


2. Cooking My Favorite Comfort Foods 🍮🍓

I love spending time in the kitchen, especially when making my favorite dishes like pudding, es buah, and home-cooked meals. This week, I made a creamy chocolate pudding that turned out perfect—smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. I also prepared a refreshing bowl of es buah, filled with fresh fruits like watermelon, melon, and nata de coco, mixed with sweet syrup and ice cubes. It was the perfect treat on a hot day! Cooking always brings me joy, especially when I get to enjoy delicious homemade treats.


3. A Clean and Fresh Home 🏡✨

Cleaning might not sound fun to everyone, but for me, it’s therapeutic. Organizing my space, wiping everything down, and seeing my home look neat and fresh instantly lifted my mood. Plus, playing my favorite songs while cleaning made it feel like a fun little dance session. The smell of a clean house and fresh sheets always makes me feel relaxed and at peace.


4. Winning in Mobile Legends 🎮🔥

I had some free time, so I decided to play Mobile Legends, one of my favorite games. This week, I had a lot of fun using Valir, Popol and Kupa, X.Borg, and Vexana. Each hero has its own unique skills, and I love experimenting with different strategies. There’s nothing more satisfying than securing a victory after a tough match. It always gives me an adrenaline rush and a sense of accomplishment!


5. Singing My Heart Out 🎤

This week, I spent some time singing my favorite songs. Whether it was slow emotional ballads or upbeat energetic tracks, I just let my voice flow with the music. Singing always makes me feel lighter, happier, and more confident. It’s one of the best ways to express emotions and release stress.


6. Playing the Keyboard 🎹

Music is not just something I listen to—I also love playing it. Sitting down with my keyboard and creating melodies was one of the most peaceful moments of my week. Sometimes, I just play for fun; other times, I try learning new pieces. Either way, it’s always a rewarding experience that helps me relax and escape from stress. Maybe next week, I’ll try composing something new!


7. Learning Something New 📚

I believe that learning never stops, and I always try to explore new things. This week, I focused on psychology, self-improvement, science, and other interesting topics. Reading about how the mind works, how to become a better version of myself, and new scientific discoveries was really fascinating. Whether it’s through books, articles, or videos, learning something new always makes me feel productive and inspired.


8. Treating Myself to Something Sweet 🍫🍰

Sometimes, a little treat can make all the difference. This week, I decided to indulge in chocolate, ice cream, and bubble tea. It was a small reward for myself, and every bite felt like pure happiness. Enjoying simple pleasures like these reminds me to appreciate the little things in life.

Looking back, I realized that happiness doesn’t always come from big things. Sometimes, it’s in the small moments—enjoying music, a good meal, or a game victory. It reminds me to always appreciate life’s little joys. Even in an ordinary week, these small moments made a big difference in my mood and energy.
